To control transfer usage, you can prohibit users from sourcing the files (images, PDFs, MP3s, etc.) on your blog.

Not all files can be protected from sourcing; the list below identifies which file types can be protected. Other file types will not be protected from sourcing even if file-sourcing is disabled.

jpg, jpeg, gif, png, bmp, tif, tiff, ico
mp3, wav, wma, mid
avi, mov, wmv, asf, mpg, mpeg, mpe, mp4, 3gp, swf
scr, exe, jar, class
pdf, doc, zip, js, css, xls, ppt, rar

Note: Any files in a protected category cannot be sourced, even if you have file-sourcing enabled.

To prohibit file-sourcing

1.From your blog's Control Panel, click the Settings and Security tab to open the Publishing Defaults page.
2.On the Publishing Defaults page, click the Advanced link to open the Advanced Settings page.
 
3.On the Advanced Settings page, clear the Allow sourcing of files and images checkbox to prevent file and image sourcing.

4.Click the Save Settings button.
