The layout of a blog is defined by a number of templates, which specify the layout and formatting of its content. The arrangement of items on the main page, the category and photo album pages and the individual article and photo pages are all defined by templates, and the formatting of these elements is defined globally using CSS via the style template.

A working knowledge of HTML and CSS is highly recommended if you wish to edit your blog's templates. Editing the blog templates is only recommended for publishers who need very fine control over the design and structure of their weblogs.
You can change the color and fonts of your blog or change the layout without editing your blog templates.
