If you are comfortable working with HTML, you may wish to further customize your weblog by modifying its template.

First login to your Blog Control Panel then click on Look and Feel tab, then the Templates sub-tab.

You will see a list of templates such as the following.

Look for the base template row, and click the Edit button. There should only be one type option - Standard - so click on Customize at the bottom and we come to the Edit Template page. We will create a copy of the current template simply by leaving Action set to Copy and clicking on the Go button.

A page will appear where you can edit the base template within the Staging Template Content area. Make your changes to the base template, then click Save and Activate, and your weblog will immediately pick up your custom base template information.
