Cascading Style Sheets, or CSS, allow you to "fine tune" the appearance of your web pages. Stylesheets also allow you to define a part of your web page as a style or class, which provides you the ability to make global changes to your web site simply by changing one file - your stylesheet file.
Note: This article explains how to modify your weblog's CSS Stylesheet, not how to choose a new template. This article explains how to choose a template from among the many ready-made styles available, screenshots of which are available here.
To modify the CSS stylesheet, first Login to your Blog Control Panel then click on Look and Feel tab, then the Templates sub-tab.
You will see a list of templates such as the following.
Click on the Edit button of the style template. You will see a list of the pre-defined Styles (or Themes):
We will modify the style you are currently using: click the Customize button and we come to the Edit Template page. We will create a copy of the current stylesheet simply by leaving Action set to Copy and clicking on the Go button.
You will come to a page where you can edit the stylesheet within the Staging Template Content area. Make your changes to the stylesheet, then click Save and Activate, and your weblog will immediately pick up your custom stylesheet information.
